2001年9月21日首都圏青年ユニオンは、報復戦争およびそれへの日本政府の後方支援に対する反対を決議した。

アメリカ同時多発テロ事件に関する特別決議

9月11日にアメリカで起こった同時多発テロによって、多くの人々の生命が奪われました。このような蛮行は、絶対に許されない犯罪行為です。このようなテロ行為は、いかなる政治的信条によっても正当化できるようなものではありません。私たちは、今回のテロ行為を強い憤りをもって糾弾するものです。

私たちは、このようなテロ行為に対して、現在、アメリカ政府が大規模な軍事的報復を準備しつつあることを憂慮しています。テロ犯罪の容疑者に対しては、被害を受けた国に引き渡して裁判にかけることが、国際的に確立している基本的ルールです。今回のテロ犯罪についても、軍事力による報復の正当性はどこにもなく、国際法にのっとり厳正な調査のうえ法的な処罰がなされるべきです。

私たちは、アメリカ政府による報復戦争に断固反対します。

また、日本政府が、米軍軍事支援のための自衛隊海外派兵を企てていることも見過ごすことはできません。私たちは、いっさいの米軍軍事支援をやめるよう、日本政府につよく求めます。

The Special Resolution Against Terrorism and Retaliation Attack

The convention of Young Contingent Workers Union in Tokyo Sep. 21st, 2001

The terrorists' attack in the U.S. on Sep. 11st cruelly murdered so many people. This is the unreasonable crime that we never permit, and whatever creed they have, such crime should never be justified. We condemn the terrorism with our strong anger.

At the same time, we are afraid of the U.S. government launching the wide-scale military retaliation.The military retaliation against this terrorists' crime nor should be justified, that's against the international law. We need the international course of justice in which the terrorists' crime should be judged. So we're absolutely against the military attack of U.S.

Also we are afraid of the Japanese government setting out to expedite the SDF abroad following the U.S. milirary. We strongly claim the Japanese government stop their cooperation with the U.S. military.
